Vin, fromage, et L'Amour du Jazz

I  finally began traveling again, and it was definetly time to cross Paris off the list of places I must see.  I always had this feeling, prior to visiting, that paris would be a place in which I can easily see myself living- and um, yes that has now been completly confirmed.

The city has a great vibe, great food, and just the overall attitude of the place is something I can relate too.  I mean for one, peers in my age group have such an old soul attitude to them i.e listening to old school jazz at house parties.  I dig I dig.

I went with my friend Sam for one of our other friend's (Julie Roussel) birthday.  It was great because I was privileged to see the city from quite a few different angles (tourist and not so tourist).  As  well as meet several new people and taste various delicious reds.

This is merely the beginning of quite a love affair I will pursue with Paris, actually France for that matter.  Next stop is Normandie in the summer, Bordeaux, and hopefully Tours.  Final note is that everyone should taste a french Macaron, if you are not in Paris lookup La Duree and see if they are near you.  A definite must, whatever it cost's it is worth it.
